Hi Everyone,
I am looking for some good tips to clean the outside of stainless steel pots, mine are not old, but they are not shinny like when I first bought them. I always wash them in hot soapy water and dry them right away but they have streaks on them are not shinny .
Also I would like any tips for cleaning glass doors and mirrors, I use Windex, spray first on the glass and then wipe with paper towels and they still have streaks, it shows up when the sun shines on them.
Any help on these (2) matters will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

There are two ways to get rid of streaks on mirrors or windows. You can use either a microfiber cloth or a black chalk board eraser and buff away the streaks. I have also heard that a polyester/cotton blend rag e.g. from an old t-shirt is great at removing streaks.

You could try washing them in the dishwasher. You could also try club soda and a lot of buffing to restore the shine. When you dry your pans use a lint less cotton dish towel-no terry cloth towels

I have always cleaned mine with a baking soda and water paste. Seems to restore the shine

Bar Keepers Friend is the product recommended for cleaning stainless steel. Do not use silverware cleaner on your pots. Another no-no is steel wool
